Added new “Show Cross-posting” menu item to Micro.blog on the web and macOS. Select specific cross-posting services like Twitter or Mastodon to control where posts go. Coming soon to iOS and Android.

Added support for showing Mastodon custom emoji. Micro.blog will ask an instance what custom emoji it supports so that it can render the posts correctly. We won’t support creating custom emoji because they don’t work universally across the web (or hardly anywhere).

Fixed an issue with Micro.blog not regularly refreshing some older feeds, especially if they were created by a user who has not been recently active on Micro.blog. Should also improve feeds that occasionally seem to be ignored.

Changed cross-posting to send up to 500 characters to Mastodon. Also improved retrying if a Mastodon server was down.

Improved ActivityPub to send photos to Mastodon without going through the Micro.blog timeline photos cache. Should fix the issue of occasional blank photos stored on some Mastodon servers.
