Updated the built-in Sumo theme to the latest version for new users. We are also going to be migrating to a more recent version of Hugo, slowly.

Added a new “Manage Payment Methods” button under Account → View Subscription, to remove old credit cards that Stripe still has on file. There’s also a “Remove Unused Payment Methods” button to wipe everything else out except the default card or bank info.

Last month our EU hosting provider had an outage that caused us to redirect some traffic to the US to avoid downtime for serving photos from the EU. For photo uploads that weren’t copied to the EU during that time, we’ve restored them. All CDNs are back to normal. 🇪🇺

Redesigned the web timeline links like Reply and Bookmark, adding a new “…” menu with more options including Edit for your own posts and Mute Conversation. Also improved the reply editing page and lots of other tweaks.

Fixed blog post summaries to allow both <!–more–> tags and custom summaries at the same time. Updated the help page with better documentation for how to use this in Hugo templates.

We’ve relaxed how strict the text escaping is for replies. For example, HTML img tags now work in replies. (By design there’s no image button, as we still expect most replies to be text.)

Added new bookshelves setting “Link books to detail pages on your blog” to use a page on your blog instead of the micro.blog domain. To start with, enabling this setting will create book pages on your blog for new or edited posts, until a full blog re-publish happens.

Restored working Libby sync. When setting it up in Libby, you’ll need to click on other apps (such as Sonos) to get a code. To get started in Micro.blog, on the web click Bookshelves → “…” → Import.
