Fixed sending emails for direct messages from the fediverse. We had disabled this temporarily when there was a series of spam attacks from Mastodon and forgot to re-enable it.

Added support in the new post screen on the web for showing the auto-generated photo description if it’s available. Requires the AI setting toggled on and Micro.blog Premium. See this YouTube video for details.

Hosted blogs were down briefly tonight. Everything should be running smoothly now and we’re monitoring the servers that had an issue.

Added a new setting for LinkedIn cross-posting. On the “Edit Sources & Cross-posting” page, you can now switch from posting to your LInkedIn connections only or to anyone.

Fixed some intermittent errors on the Uploads page.

Fixed an issue with multiple source feeds where cross-posting might not be enabled.
Fixed broken photo thumbnail right after uploading a new photo. -

Using WordPress with Micro.blog? There’s a new version of Micro.blog for iOS in the App Store that fixes posting to WordPress blogs.

Fixed a couple new issues, with registering plug-ins, retrieving @-mentions from Bluesky, and Sign in with Apple.

Some uploads were delayed today. It’s all fixed now, and anything that didn’t show up right away should now be available.

Fixed a new issue with emoji and special characters in external RSS feed titles.

Several fixes were made today, including mentioning Mastodon usernames with dashes in the domains, support for uploading WebM video files, better newsletter email address import, and other little tweaks.

We deployed a bunch of (mostly) behind-the-scenes changes this morning. There were a couple glitches that I’ve now fixed. If anyone notices new problems, don’t hesitate to reach out.
